Being left a legacy in a will by a client

You must not accept any legacy in any will you are asked to draft. Either the legacy must not appear in the will or you must refer the matter on to a colleague and you must have no involvement. You must also keep a file note that you have done so and that you have no involvement whatsoever with the client's will.
