If you were acting for a client of the firm as you joined Keystone from your previous firm, then we recognise that work was most likely generated entirely independently of the relevant Client Owner's relationship.
In some rare cases, fairness (both to you and to the Client Owner) might dictate that your Pod be recognised as matter owner, for example where you followed our processes, acted reasonably and the new work was generated by you entirely independently of the Client Owners client relationship.
To have your Pod recognised as the matter owner for that client, email the Clients Team setting out your reasoning for your application and attaching relevant supporting evidence. Where the Clients Team cannot quickly determine how the work came to the firm, the Clients Team will let you know and pass the matter to the Director of Community and Engagement who shall investigate the matter, speaking to all relevant parties and who shall make a fair and final determination.
