When our conflict checks identify a possible conflict, (of any of the foregoing categories), it is referred to the MLRO for analysis. Where further information is required in order to assess whether a conflict can be cleared, a member of the Clients Team will be in touch.
The rules for Client Conflicts and Information Conflicts are clear and considered above, which also deals with the very limited extent to which that conflicts can be cleared. The position with Own Interest Conflicts and commercial conflicts is more subtle and are considered in this section.
