Central Office offers printing, copying, scanning and bibling services. Production costs are as per our Rate Card or, for bespoke services, quotes are available on request. The costs are added to the client/matter by the Invoicing Team for inclusion in the next Invoice or your account if you prefer. Please note that any document over 100 pages will automatically be outsourced to Legastat or Apogee to print.
Legastat
If you need help with document production out of hours, then you can make use of our account with Legastat directly, which is open 24/5 and 9 to 5 at weekends. They are based just off Chancery Lane (Medway House, 27-29 Cursitor Street, EC4A 1LT) and you can visit them or email them. Usually, they will return the work to you by email or return copying to Central Office. If you require the documents be sent elsewhere, Legastat can organise a courier for you.
To request that Legastat complete a task please complete the Legastat Instruction Sheet. Completing the Legastat instruction sheet ensures that Legastat have all the information they'll need. The completed Instruction Sheet needs to be emailed to services@legastat.co.uk along with the document to be scanned or copied. You can also drop them off or have a courier do so for you. You must give very clear instructions and provide your contact details (including the best telephone number for you that night/weekend) and the client and matter number so that the work is billed correctly. If you don't provide the client and matter number, the work will still be done, but the cost will be added to your personal account.

Apogee
Apogee is our scanning agent for incoming post. As well as the handling of our post, Apogee also offers printing, copying, scanning and binding services.
Apogee should only be used for these services when it is not a time-sensitive request (i.e. it does not need to be completed the same day). It is more appropriate to use Legastat for jobs that require a quick turnaround.

When requesting a job please complete the Apogee Instruction Sheet and return it to the Admin Team. Please ensure you provide clear instructions to save any mistakes.
The Admin Team will obtain a quote from Apogee (including any courier fees) and an estimated turnaround time before proceeding with a job request.
