Hard copies and USBs

As soon as you take data off your laptop, you are making it less secure. If you do so digitally, e.g. through a USB, then you must encrypt and password protect the data. The IT Team can help with this. Please note that we do not recommend the use of USBs unless there is no other choice or your client insists. There are other, far more secure ways of sending documents digitally. See Sending large digital files.

Any hard copies should be archived once you no longer need them, or shredded using a crosscut shredder.
