International post

Now that the UK is no longer part of the European Union, the process for sending out international post has changed. A Customs Declaration Form must now be completed and attached to all post being sent internationally. The form needs to be completed with the sender's details, a description of what the package contains and must be signed and dated. A copy of the customs form can be downloaded here.

Letters, postcards and documents are usually exempt from requiring import tax so the recipient should not have to pay anything to receive the package. However, each country has slightly different rules.

If you need to send something that is not a document, or has a value of more than ‚¬10, the recipient will need to pay import tax. The amount will vary depending on which country it is being sent to. Please contact the Administration Team who can assist you.
