Invoices are (by default) payable within 30 days from the date of issue, but through Keyed-In you can change this to set alternate terms on matter inception. It is good practice to use the same payment terms for all Invoices for any given client, but if not feasible, then for any given matter. You should note that as a matter of law, regardless of payment terms, law firms cannot sue on Invoices within 30 days of delivery. You should also note that you set the contractual terms in the Engagement Letter and you should ensure that you use the same payment terms when it comes to invoicing.
