Pre-sue reports
A pre-sue report provides details on whether a defendant is worth suing. It provides details on:
- The financial position of a defendant.
- Any suggested credit limits being advised in relation to the defendant.
- Any pre-existing and ongoing proceedings, bankruptcies and insolvencies.
- Linked companies.
- Shareholdings (including investment shareholdings in listed Plcs).
- Directorships (including other directorships and past/linked insolvencies).
- Land Registry searches.
To undertake a pre-sue report, simply contact the COLs providing the client/matter reference.
In addition to this, a further personal tracing service is available.
