Telephone Legal Hearings - court conference-call service

On occasion a court will convene by conference call and when it does you will need to use a secure, court approved facility. The firm has an account with Kidatu and the Administration Team can arrange access for you.

The total cost of a €˜standard' telephone hearing is capped at £46+vat. (A €˜standard' telephone hearing is one involving 2 parties plus the Judge for up to 60minutes). Hearings involving more than 2 parties plus the Judge, or for more than 60 minutes, may be charged more depending on the number of parties and the duration. All day hearings will be capped at £200+vat. Hearings with international parties will be capped at £80+vat unless we notify you otherwise.

This charge is passed onto the client as a disbursement.

To make a booking you will need to advise the Administration Team of the client/matter number and the following details about the case:

• Case name
• Hearing date
• Hearing start time
• Our client/matter number
• Judge's title
• Judge's first name
• Judge's last name
• Court telephone number
• Court name
• Court case reference number.

In addition, for each participant, you will need to provide the following details:

• First name
• Last name

• Telephone number.
