The obligations of Central Office
Central Office must take the following three actions in order to achieve compliance with the Code:
- Maintain the Register of Undertakings (logging new undertakings and discharging spent undertakings).
- Earmark funds in the Client Account that are subject to an undertaking and ensure said funds are not released while the undertaking is effective.
- Retain copies of all undertakings and related documentation.
